The location was great and the price made it a great value as well.
The website gave the impression that a free continental breakfast was included;; this was misleading.
Close to Lake George activities.
Price was too high. This is rated as a 3 Diamond hotel in aaa Tour books, however I don't feel it deserves this rating. The website is very misleading as to the type of place it is. The website makes it look like a nice hotel but in reality it is just a glorified motel. Was very disappointed when I arrived. Also, I made a reservation in May and received my confirmation.....However when we arrived we were told that the reservation was never put through. I called the day before we arrived to confirm my reservation and was told we had a room, but obiviously the person had no idea what they were talking about. Also, the main lobby had a funny smell...was relieved that my room did not.
Being able to paddle boat right from our site and not having to drive to all locations.
Could have used more dresser space.
We liked that the pool was open until late. And also that the hotel is located in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Rooms are well kept and nice. Can forget to mention the beautiful view of the Adirondacks.
Room was for the most part clean but bathroom could of used a little more time (toilet needed scrubbing and floor needed a wash). Just a suggestion.
The location-very close to the village, easy walking to stores and restaurants. The beach that was part of the hotel, it was nice to walk out of our room and down a flight of steps to the beach.
It was fairly run down. Indoor/Outdoor carpet on all of the outdoor stairways was disgusting! Tiles around pool were missing. Lots of flies in our room when we checked in and the bathroom was so dimly lit that we could barely see. Restaurant was dirty-had to get two new place settings b/c the were filthy.
I enjoyed the location of our room...we lucked out...we were on the pool/lake side. I liked the boca bar next to the pool area...very resort- like feeling.
I thought the overall appearance could use some upkeep...the rugs on the stairs going from the back poo area to the front was in need of real repair. The game room was quaint, but if it was bigger and a little more modern you could advertise for the "older kids".
I liked the pool and the view from the pool. The wait staff for the pool area was great! I enjoyed the comp. Coffee. The breakfast buffet was good.
All of our reservations were cancelled??? I booked from the hotels website, my friend booked with a hotel booking agent, and another family that we were travelling with booked by calling you directly. It was not very conforting arriving and finding out that our confirmed reservations were cancelled and if we had come in later we would not have had a room. We also asked for two double beds and ended up with one king instead. We felt that it was pricey for what appeared to be a basic motel room. We had flies in our room and the walls, mirror, and floors were not clean.
I loved the location of the hotel..Nice bar out by the pool... Made the afternoon relaxing. Friends have stayed many times and made the recommendation.. A very nice hotel - a short walk to shopping, restaurants and bars...
Not a thing....Could have had a problem when I checked in but it all worked out.
WHile close to the Lake - it is also close for thousands of others.Little walking facilities to enjoy - just the car park
Low level accomodation.
Location. Spacy clean room,
The stairs and out side the rooms areas could be kept better
Great location, close to town. Pool is nice, beach is small but nice.
Upstairs rooms are inconvenient, the stairs and hallways are too narrow. The breakfast was expensive for the quality and variety of food they offered. Overall it wasn't really worth the money we paid.
The hotel is like being on a private island , the rooms are beautiful, clean, and great for families . The pool is absolutly gorgeous , we would only stay at the Georgian when we come to lake George. We plan on coming every year with our family.
Lake George Village Pool tv
Curtains blocked air conditioning at night This is many more than 3 questions!!
The website presented the property as a higher quality facility than what it turned out to be. The property is not in that good of condition. A parkiing lot is not a courtyard!!!!!
The pool was absolutely wonderful. This is the best hotel to stay at while in Lake George in my opinion. We have been going there for years.
I could not get the wifi to work for my laptop but I think it was on my end not the hotel.
